À la mort d'Alexander McQueen (RIP), je me suis dite, c'est la fin. Il n'y aura plus personne pour le remplacer. Il avait un tel talent. C'est un de mes créateurs préférés. C'est comme ça que dans ma tête, tout de McQueen était mort. Mais Sara Burton, travaillant avec cet incroyable personnage depuis un certain temps, a su gardé l'image que McQueen avait créé, et nous a donné une collection incroyable [FW 2011]. Et oui, elle est devenue la directrice artistique de la maison Alexander McQueen. Comme tout le monde le sait déjà, elle fut nommé comme la "plus apte" a pouvoir continuer les collections, et ils n'ont pas une tort en la choisissant. Diplomée de la Saint Martins College a Londres (la même école ou Alexander McQueen fut formé), cela faisait depuis 1996 qu'elle travaillait avec lui. En restant 14 ans a ces côtés, Sara Burton a bien compris sa vision. Une magnifique collection.

Suivant. La collection Givenchy FW 2011, une collection constituee de couleur noir ou sombre mais avec quelques petites touches de couleurs, vert, bleu, etc. et une piece tape-a-l'oeil, jaune. Voici quelques de mes preferes. Je dois dire que certaines pieces furent plutot decevantes et presque bizarrement tellement eloignees que ce que je m'imaginais d'une collection Givenchy a me surprendre comme toujours.

Balenciaga

I wasn't carefull enough while watching the Balenciaga collection video. So the other day I was reading the vogue issue when I spotted THE leather jacket and shoes by Balenciaga. The video I've posted is the FW 2011 2012. I really like the second music but I didn't find the name of the song. It must be a mix of songs, if btw you know the name please tell me!

All Vogue magazines 2010

Live Journal user Shuburb did awesome collages of the different Vogue cover 2010 by country and then reunited all the Vogue cover in the world together. Although it is not far from an abstract picture, we can still see the shape of a woman standing in the middle of the page which is amazing. I really like this collage. I'm missing unfortunately the UK cover one. An amazing photoshoot with models having 200'000 Ladybugs on them. Just a crazy idea. Can't put the video on my blog but highly recommend you to go watch IT. It's fun. Next are the video of the week. I want to add; girls be ready to adopt the Balmain "rock'n'roll, punk" spirit. MY FAV' but don't forget to add a lil touch of fluorescent color. xx

Balmain FW 2011-2012

With Christophe Decarnin as the artistic director of the Maison Balmain, I heard that its turnover has been rising quite considerably. Now Balmain has an itch of rock and glitter still keeping its chic and glamour side. Enjoy this Fall Winter collection. Disco like jacket, lots of glitter, top that shows half of your belly,  white shoes, here's the essential elements of this collection. I especially like the glitter and fur shoulders wear, the top, the glitters and top, to summarize everything? Enjoy. xx
