I'm crying over my not inspired mood this past month. It's horrible when you open your wardrobe and just stare at it for 10 minutes not knowing what to choose. Then you take everything out and find some kind of outfit, but during the day you feel like you're badly dressed. This day though, I didn't get that feeling. 

Vintage Clothing

J'ai été mandatée comme styliste pour un shooting qui aurait du avoir lieu dimanche passé, mais les choses ont fait que je ne le fus point. J'avais donc une bonne dizaine d'habits et d'accessoires Vintage provenant de la boutique Chabada Vintage situé à Lausanne. On y trouve des petits bijoux comme vous avez pu le voir. Vu que j'avais de si belle pièce, je me suis dite qu'il serait dommage de ne pas en faire usage pour un shooting. J'ai choisi les tenues que je préfère qui sont normalement en vente dans la boutique. Mais je ne pense pas que je vais toutes les rendre car je suis tombée amoureuse de ces quelques robes. Pour ce shooting je cherchais à avoir un sentiment un peu mystique et féminin. Certaines des photos ont satisfaites mes attentes tandis que d'autres m'ont déçues mais je voulais quand même les publier pour les partager avec vous. Enfin, si vous êtes à la recherche de petit trésors Vintage, n'attendez pas à aller voir la boutique Chabada Vintage.

I was mandated as a stylist for a photo shooting, supposed to be held last sunday, but things made that I was not. So I had about ten Vintage clothes and accessories from the Boutique Chadaba Vintage situated in Lausanne. We can find there true gems as you can see. Since I had such wonderful pieces, I thought that it would be a pity not to use them for a photo shooting. I chose my favorite outfits, normally avaible in the boutique. But I don't think I will return all of them cause I fell in love with these dresses. For this shooting I was looking for some mystical and feminine feeling. Some  pictures satified my expectations while others were dissapointing but I wanted to share even those ones with you. Anyways, if you are looking for true Vintage gems, do not wait and go to Chabada Vintage.

NYFW SS2012 Alexander Wang

C'est la New York Fashion Week et j'essaie de la suivre du mieux que je peux depuis la Suisse. Heureusement  qu'internet a été inventé. Mes attentes pour la collection SS 2012 d'Alexander Wang étaient des plus grandes et je n'ai pas été déçue. Avec beaucoup de différents motifs, couleurs, matières et coupes Wang nous a montré qu'il est un designer. C'est une surprise totale comparé à ses précédentes collections. Je me réjouis de l'été prochain

My Bibi and Me downtown, enjoying the good weather. At first I thought that this roundish sunglasses wouldn't suit me cause my face is quite round. But now that I look at the picture, it doesn't look that bad no? Lately I have been crazy over cut by fred blog which gives lots of tutorial on simple hair style that you can do. It gave me tons of ideas and so I wanted to braid my friend's hair, doesn't it look nice?

MiuMiu Fall Campaign

I'm sometimes wondering if I'm going crazy, cause I can't get out of my head few items I want in my wadrobe. I'd go tons of time in the same store to stare and analyse them, which makes me imagine myself wearing them, equally called self-torturing. One of these items is the MiuMiu oversized clutch, not in white color though. Anyways, the MiuMiu Fall Campaign is so refreshing. The pictures are lovely they give you this fresh/young feeling of the 20th   Century. They used a model who looks more like a 15 years old girl than a 15 years old girl looking ridiculously old (20). MiuMiu has adopted a vintage style for this collection, but I totally love. I mean I have always told myself that women from the early/middle 20th century looks much more feminine, that they're much more beautiful and glamorous than WE women from the new generation are. And I can feel from these pictures that I'm looking at a book about the 'old fashion', that I have stored in my library. C'est mon gros coup de coeur.

Tavi Gevinson is coming with a Web Magazine, this is going to be interesting. Expecting to be a teenager Web Magazine, it will launch Monday the 5th September. It will consist of monthly theme, three articles a day scheduled to be after school, after dinner and before bed to reach its teenage readers. Style Rookie (Tavi Gevinson's blog) was one of the first blog I was following. I'm amazed how at such a young age one can be so talented and mature. I'm looking foward to reading the articles and see her work.

What a wonderful scenery we have for the first three pictures: a construction site. These are the pictures from last year in London, I feel so nostalgic when I look at them. I'm wearing my fav' perfecto I found in H&M. I have been  looking for a similar one a bit longer in leather but I haven't found mon coup de coeur after 2 years now. Last pictures my friend and I were in some park and we love DocMartens, yeay! X

Meeting Paul Smith

I can remember how my friend and I were doing shopping in Selfridges&Co, nearby the Sandro women's clothing. I was walking around waiting for my friend to pay and saw that an event was happening. I went up to some girl wearing black to ask what was it about. Being very lucky we ended up attending the interview of Paul Smith. Paul Smith is so humble, it was hard to believe. He told us about his career, how he ended up as a designer. He talked also about his new fragrance. At the end, we received a bag with this 'new fragrance' (september 2010) and now I'm not leaving without it on. It's crazy how lucky we can be sometimes, I wasn't even wearing nice clothes. I want to go back to London, miss the city. 

Cemetery

I got my hands on this beautiful pictures of Anne Hathaway. They're full of emotions and you get this intense feeling when you look at them. On the whole, the shoot looks pretty creepy, but I totally like.
